Factory rubber bushings wearing out is not a question of if, but when. Worn out bushings can create excess movement with your control arm, causing your control arm to move in ways that it was not intended to. Once this happens your Civic's alignment will be shot, and your tires will begin to wear unevenly, causing you to spend money on tires and constant re-alignments. And with all of the problems this Civic is having with its rear control arms, you are probably on your second or third set of tires as it is so we here at DST are sure you Civic owners do not want the same to happen to the front.

Prothane's performance polyurethane bushings will completely replace those soft rubber factory bushings. Polyurethane is a much better material for suspension bushings than rubber. Prothane's bushings are firm enough to handle all of the stresses your Civic puts on the control arms while being soft enough to still have that ride quality you desire. With Prothane's polyurethane bushings installed in your front control arms, the handling on your Civic will be unrecognizable from the day you first rolled off the dealership lot. The 8223 will come with polyurethane bushings for the horizontal position and the vertical bushings. Also included are zinc plated steel inner sleeves designed to match your O.E. bolts. 4 tubes of Prothane's Super grease are included for installation to ensure a long and squeak free life.
