SuperPro TRC1006
Installing a larger rear sway bar is a great way to get an edge on the street or the track, but movement in the sway bar mounting points can reduce the effectiveness of your new sway bar. The vehicle's sway bar is responsible for maintaining maximum tire contact with the road while cornering and having a sway bar mount point that has extra movement can lead to uneven load distribution in your tires, causing you to lose speed in the corners and to wear the tires faster. This small brace removes the flex from the mounting points allowing the sway bar to function how it is designed to perform. This mount limits excess movement of the sway bar without causing clearance issues from larger performance exhaust systems, making the TRC1006 the perfect solution for your ride.
Rear Sway Bar Mount Brace
The TRC1006 by SuperPro includes two lightweight steel brackets designed to brace the sway bar mount to the lower control arm. Featuring the same thick powder coating as SuperPro's sway bars, each brace is equipped high quality and long-lasting weather resistant finish. This kit will come with two bolts and washers, as well as installation instructions complete with pictures on how to install this part. A PDF version of these instructions is available higher on the page under "TRC1006 Installation Instructions."
Sway Bar Importance
A vehicle's sway bar is responsible for maintaining maximum tire contact with the road while cornering. With that, having a sway bar mount point that has extra movement can lead to uneven load distribution in your tires, causing you to lose speed in the corners and to wear the tires faster. By using SuperPro's rear sway bar mount brace kit, this additional movement or fatigue in your O.E. mounting brace point will be eliminated. These braces provide extra strength for longer tire life and a better overall sway bar performance.
