Energy Suspension's front control arm bushings for the 05-09 Subaru Legacy will replace the original, soft rubber bushings, restore the alignment of the front control arm, and provide more stability to the wheels during a turn.
Subaru's have the longevity of legends but the rubber suspension components are one of the weak links in that department. If you want to keep your Legacy's suspension in good shape for the long run then replacing the rubber front control arm bushings (which are bound to degrade and fail eventually) with polyurethane bushings will give you a durable suspension part that will last the rest of your Subaru's long life.
Unreliable Rubber Bushings
The front control arms hold the wheel alignment steady through suspension movement and the bushings cushion the connection between the control arm and the frame, but the stock bushings are made of rubber and these bend and twist to absorb vibrations between the wheels and the driver. The bending and flexing take their toll on the bushings and over time cause them to change shape, crack, and eventually break apart. When the bushings degrade or develop a gap you can see unstable wheel alignment leading to uneven tire wear and even steering wander.
Longevity and Durability
