Energy Suspension provides grease to install these parts, but you can never have too much. Grab an extra 3-pack of grease so you can more liberally apply grease when installing.

- Energy Suspension warrants its products against defects in workmanship and material for 24 months when used on passenger cars and light trucks. Products that have been abused, altered, or incorrectly installed are not covered. Energy Suspension will replace defective products or component parts, if inspection for factory personnel determines the part to be defective. Warranty replacement covers only the product. Labor claims, time loss, or freight charges will not be honored.
HyperFlex Control Arm Bushings
A control arm bushing plays a vital role in a suspension. Replace that faulty O.E. rubber bushing with an Energy Suspension Hyperflex control arm bushing. These polyurethane bushings provide the longevity and performance needed to maximize a suspension's efficiency. Energy Suspension's Hyperflex polyurethane is a firmer bushing than the O.E. Not only does this increase the longevity of the bushing but gives the suspension a boost in handling performance. With a firmer bushing, there will be a slight increase in NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness), but most drivers prefer the boost in performance in spite of that.
The Faulty O.E.
As your suspension travels, a rubber control arm bushing is repeatedly stretching and flexing. After a while, the center sleeve begins to sag and your suspension alignment is throw out of whack. The sagging will go on until the rubber fails completely.
Be sure to use Formula 5
A control arm bushing rotates a lot against the metal shell, so make sure you grease it well with Energy Suspension's own Formula 5 Bushing Lubricant. Using plenty of grease is the best way to ensure a long lasting part without any squeaking. If you'd like some extra grease just in case, pick up an extra 3 pack or an 8 ounce tube.

Ive installed this kit on two Lincoln Town Cars. A 95 and a 97. Form, Fitment, and Function is superior. Especially with the pre 98 Panthers that dont have the Watts Link.

Parts are great and the Towncar rides like a dream. Everyone needs an 89 Town that handles like a sport car! :) If I had to suggest improvements, it would be to let others know that the parts fit alot more Panther Platform cars than is on the website. Fortunately, the guys from Granmarq.net were able to direct me towards you. Thanks!

I have a 97 Grand Marquis. The back end was floating and swaying around, especially coming out of turns. After replacing the sway bar bushings and links, this set looked like a reasonable way to replace the rear end bushings. The instructions were not in the box or on the web site but an e-mail resulted in a quick reply with the instructions. It took me 3 sessions in my garage to replace all 8 bushings with the tools I had, including a loan-a-tool ball joint press from Auto Zone and a hand-held propane torch from Lowes. The bushings on the axle were tedious because they are near the fuel tank and a couple of electrical wires. I undid the lower end of the shocks to lower the axle as much as possible. One of the upper shells came out of the axle while I was pushing the bushing. Wasn't too hard to get it back in after replacing the bushing. I made sure to use a smaller receiver on the other axle bushing. The new bushings went in fairly easily with the supplied grease. The grease was also key to getting each control arm into position with the new bushings and thrust washers - a pretty tight fit. A floor jack under the axle helped line things up. The back end is very stable now, not floating and swaying in turns like before.
