Energy Suspension will replace defective products or component parts, if inspection for factory personnel determines the part to be defective. Warranty replacement covers only the product. Maintaining, and Upgrading, your Mustang
Your powerful Mustang takes you wherever you want to go, turning heads as you roar by. What if I told you that it could be performing even better? After roaming around in your Mustang for a while it's performance will, not surprisingly, begin to drop. It launches slower from traffic lights, your steering doesn't feel quite the same, and there may even be thumping sounds coming from the rear end. These symptoms and more can all be linked to failed OE subframe bushings. While your Mustang may not be having these problems just yet, it's sure to happen later on down the road. With that in mind, Energy Suspension has created a kit to both enhance your Mustang's current performance, and help keep performance issues at bay.
Reinforce the Suspension
This is Energy Suspension's 4.4122, a Hyperflex polyurethane set of rear subframe bushings made specifically for the newer models, 2015 and up, of the Ford Mustang. The soft OE rubber subframe bushings on your Mustang are prone to flexing and wearing themselves out. When your Mustang accelerates or decelerates the rubber bends, reducing the efficiency of the Mustang's power transfer from the engine to the road, this is what makes your Mustang feel sluggish. With the 4.4122's Hyperflex polyurethane that flexing is reduced, and while this may increase your NVH slightly, it also means that your Mustang will react much faster to what you do and increase your engine's power transfer efficiency. Over time the rubber will also wear itself out, leaving your body and frame sitting dangerously close together. Those thumping sounds you've been hearing? That would be your body and frame impacting each other. By installing Energy Suspension's 4.4122 you're ensuring that your Mustang will stay dependable with these contaminations and wear resistant subframe bushings.
Easy Install
The 4.4122 is also easy to install! Each of these bushings are actually two separate half-bushings with a metal inner sleeve. When installing them all you have to do is slip each end into the top and bottom of each mounting position, slip the sleeve though, then tighten everything back up using the OE hardware. Once installed you can take your Mustang back out onto the road knowing that it will perform better than ever before!
