Front Track Bar Bushings 99-04 Ford F250 Super Duty 4WD

These Front Track Bar Bushings fit the 20MM bolt on the F250 4WD Super Duty 1999-2004 and replace the original rubber bushings that wear down with time and degrade when exposed to the elements. If your track bar bushings are worn down you can experience steering wander or wobble and excessive vibration and noise from the front of your F250. You can fix this by upgrading to polyurethane track bar bushings.

99-04 ford f250 super duty front track bar bushings

old rubber track bar bushing

Worn Track Bar Bushings

The front track arm (or Panhard bar) stands between the frame and the axle and allows the axle to travel with the movement of your suspension without twisting, so your wheels keep pointing straight ahead. At each end of the track bar there are rubber bushings that hold the bar in place and absorb vibration, but these bushings are not very durable and can begin to hollow out.

When those bushings wear down, the bar can shift and allow the axle to move and cause steering wander or even abnormal tire wear. To reset and maintain the axle's position worn bushings must be replaced, but do you want to install more rubber bushings that will eventually wear down like the originals?

welded steel or one piece cast track arm bushings for f250 super duty

Covers Both Styles of Track Arms

Energy Suspension offers these Front Track Arm Bushings which are made of polyurethane and hold the axle in alignment through rough driving for much longer than the original rubber bushings. This kit includes the bushings for the welded steel track arm and the one piece cast arm, either of which could come stock on your 99-04 F250 Super Duty. Polyurethane is a more dense material and so it doesn't absorb as much road vibration as rubber, but it does a much better job of holding the axle in alignment.

Whether you're hauling lumber down I20, or taking back roads in Erath County, Texas to the deer lease, you don't want to be constantly correcting your steering because your front axle is cock-eyed.

More Durable Upgrade

Besides doing a better job of holding front axle alignment Polyurethane track bar bushings are more resistant to wear than rubber. Poly bushings won't degrade with exposure to road salts, coastal climate, or motor chemicals like rubber will. Here at Suspension.com we believe these bushings will last the life of your Ford and we back that up with an exclusive lifetime warranty that we will handle for you in house.

So if you're looking for a durable, longer lasting bushing to keep that front axle aligned then Energy Suspension's polyurethane track bar bushings will outlast and out-perform the originals.

The hardest part was removing the old bushings Whew that was a job. The energy bushings needed just a little trimming on one side to press them in. Because my 2002 f250 came with Moog track bar. Total time was about 3.5 hours start to finish. Dont forget to re torque per ford manual. If you dont have access to big torque wrench go to a tractor maintenance place they usually have a torque multiplier. Only takes minutes and saves a lot of money compared to Ford. Great product.

Brian Middleton - . Energy Suspension 4.7128
The part was a correct fit for my 2000 f250 superduty. The quality seems very good. The instructions were good. Fortunately I have a neighbor that has a good shop press. I think this would be a very difficult project to do without a press.
5 out of 5 - very good
gene miller - . Energy Suspension 4.7128
Took a little doing to get them in, a press is the way to go. Track bar on top of bushing, pressing downward onto the bushing was the way to go. All in all they are a good tight fit.
5 out of 5 - fantastic

Still holding strong and doing what they should.

The parts were great. The installation is a little tricky but is accomplished with a bench vice. I dont remember the last time my truck drove this good.

KS Geisler Inc. - . Energy Suspension 4.7128
These bushings took almost all the slop out of my truck. It quit wandering down the road like a hound dog trying to find a scent. I HIGHLY recommend replacing your factory track arm bushings with these. If your truck is wandering, you will notice the difference right away. \n\nThe easiest way to remove the old bushings is to use a ball joint removal tool.

Douglas Weatherford - . Energy Suspension 4.7128
Big improvement over stock bushings. Install is pretty simple once the old bushings are removed. I recommend the "heat and beat" technique.
5 out of 5 - Great product
jason noack - . Energy Suspension 4.7128
These were a little difficult to press into the track bar but are very tight once they were installed. They should last longer than the stock rubber ones.
4 out of 5 - Strong tight bushing
Clayton Smith - . Energy Suspension 4.7128
Parts were exactly as advertised. No trouble installing. Seem to be performing well
5 out of 5 - very good
Bill Mueller - . Energy Suspension 4.7128
Big job, if you don't have the proper tools. The track bar torques at 367 ft. lbs. A press is necessary to remove the old parts. Installation is quick and easy with the new parts. I would not try this without 3/4" sockets, and a 3 ft. breakover bar. Once done, the results are very much worth while.
5 out of 5 - Excellant Product
Terry Winter - . Energy Suspension 4.7128
I only had a bench vise to help get these in the track bar. A press would have been helpful or at least a mention of having to use one. They fixed the knocking problem I was having in the front end. I had changed the swaybar bushings before this and they made a world of difference over OEM. Great Products.
5 out of 5 - WELL MADE PART

Evelyn Wagner - . Energy Suspension 5.7116
Would not want to try to replace any bushing without a press, but using a 20-ton press(I used some of the money I saved in labor costs to buy the press), these worked fantastic! Very much helped to revive my worn out front suspension.
5 out of 5 - Fantastic!
Phra Paugh - . Energy Suspension 5.7116
They were a superb fit and I would recommend them.

It helped a lot i still have to replace a few more things. very good product.
5 out of 5 - truck drove different
james Franks - . Energy Suspension 5.7116
They where a bit hard to get in. Had to use multiple things to get the bar into place because the bushings where larger. But Id rather have them to tight then loose.
5 out of 5 - Good
Robert Anderson - . Energy Suspension 5.7116
the only issue is that these are VERY Tight fit, and you will need help or good tools to Install. but they work great. I actually split mine apart with a very thin Saw blade, which made them easy to install. If you split your, do NOT use the grease, or just very little, or they will slide back out. Editors Note: Energy Suspension does not recommend you to cut the bushing in half to install. It will cause the bushing to move around like the customer referred to with them to slide out. If the lube is not applied this will cause the bushing to squeak and fail prematurely.
5 out of 5 - Very well made Solid Bushings
David Ferrell - . Energy Suspension 5.7116
Old ones was tough to get out. A hydraulic press will save you lots of time, on my application I had to reuse a inner sleeve and had to be ground down to fit inside bushing.
5 out of 5 - Good quality
Daniel Lewis - . Energy Suspension 4.7126
Excellent product. Poor installation instructions.Editors Note: Energy is aware of their instructions. They are working on them. In the future they will much better.
