With the proper tools, you can remove the stock bar and install the new sway bar in less than 30 minutes.<\/p>\n<h3>Tools required for the job<\/h3>\n<p>To install the rear sway bar on your BRZ\/FR-S\/GT86, you&#8217;ll need these tools:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jack Stands<\/li>\n<li>Car Jack<\/li>\n<li>Lug wrench<\/li>\n<li>Socket Wrench &#8211; 12mm<\/li>\n<li>14mm wrench<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<h3>Step by Step<\/h3>\n<h4>Step One<\/h4>\n<p>Once your BRZ\/FR-S\/GT86 is on jack-stands, remove the tires.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.suspension.com\/images\/brzswaybar\/front\/step1.jpg\" alt=\"brz front sway bar install step1\"><\/p>\n<h4>Step Two<\/h4>\n<p>Loosen the upper bolts on the stock endlinks using a 14mm socket wrench and detach them from the sway bar.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.suspension.com\/images\/brzswaybar\/rear\/step2.jpg\" alt=\"brz rear sway bar install\"><\/p>\n<h4>Step Three<\/h4>\n<p>Loosen the sway bar bushing mounts with a 12mm socket wrench. First rotate the non-exhaust side until it is clear. Slide it back over the exhaust and wrap the driver side over the control arm.
