Whiteline Sway Bar Bushings

Intended to hold your sway bar in place, sway bar bushings play an important role in your suspension. Whereas OE bushings are made of a soft rubber, Whiteline Sway Bar bushings are made of synthetic elastomer, a much more durable material. Whiteline's elastomer does not break down due to road grime, weather or oils the way the rubber can. Have the peace of mind knowing you have a long lasting part on your sway bar with Whiteline's sway bar bushings. Synthetic elastomer sway bar bushings provide a secure grip on the sway bar and does not warp over time. With this snug grip, your vehicle will see a performance boost similar to installing a larger sway bar.

Whiteline Sway Bar Bushing Faulty Rubber

Faulty Rubber

A sway bar's function is to maintain the maximum amount of road contact while driving. The sway bar is held tightly to the frame of the vehicle via sway bar bushings. Original Equipment rubber bushings, as mentioned previously, can warp and/or crack, losing their grip on the bar. This causes your sway bar to lose it's effectiveness. Just look at the old rubber sway bar bushing to the left. Imagine how good of a grip that thing could (not) keep on a sway bar.

Product Reviews for Whiteline Rear Sway Bar Bushings

One year later and still strong. Paired these up with the sway bar locks and have made a noticeable difference.

I have Cobb Swaybars on my car and they came with polyurethane bushings that are a huge improvement over the stock rubber ones, but they always require greasing with white lithium grease every 3 months or they squeak like crazy. I was having a clunking sound from my front end and I thought that my strut mounts were bad, but after putting on these greaseless Whiteline bushings, the squeaking is gone and even better...the clunking is gone. I also have peace of mind that i do not need to get under the car every three months and re-grease them. These are just as firm and durable as the old polyurethane, but without the maintenance. In addition, the staff was very helpful on the phone in selecting the right parts and how to measure my swaybars (use a crescent wrench and then put it up to a ruler).

Great improvement over the very disappointing Cobb tubular unit that snapped in use. I am using the STi lateral arms to replace the stock units that broke at the end link tabs in place of your supplemental hardware. The remaining problem lies with Subarus under engineering the overall body structure--the forward passenger side mount bolt tore the blind nut from the sheet metal, so I have had to weld your mount to the body. No going back now. I would suggest you include car-specific torque settings in your instructions, plus bushing re-lubrication frequency, and possibly zirc fittings on the mounts.

A necessary upgrade from the stock brackets if you are installing an aftermarket sway bar. The installation is easy and straight forward. Much stronger than the stock brackets.

These were a bit tough to install as they are much stiffer then rubber ( a good thing) I had to use to C clamps to compress them enough to get the bracket close enough to get the bolts to thread in, once all installed, Im a happy camper, time will tell how they wear on the subie in Baja !!!
5 out of 5 - Awesome

Purchased these bushings as a replacement for worn out stock bushings. Easy to install and made a noticeable improvement in handling stiffness. Low cost easy suspension upgrade.
