Whiteline Leaf Spring Bushings

Vehicles using a leaf spring and shackle system rely heavily on the spring and it's bushings to mitigate any bumps you may drive over. The intention of the leaf spring is to spread the force of an impact out over a wide area, instead of focusing all the force into a single point. Because of this, having a dependable set of leaf spring bushings is critical to your vehicle's ability to haul heavy loads and drive smoothly over rough surfaces. Whiteline crafts their leaf spring and shackle bushings with synthetic elastomer, a much more durable material than the OE rubber. This elastomer is resistant to both physical wear and road contamination. By installing Whiteline's synthetic elastomer leaf spring and shackle bushings you'll not only improve your vehicle's lifespan, but you'll also improve it's performance.

OE Rubber Flaws

OE leaf spring systems use soft rubber bushings to mount the spring to the frame. while this rubber is good at keeping vibrations from traveling through the cab, it doesn't last long. OE rubber is prone to cracking and rotting due to contamination and wear, eventually falling away completely. Once this happens, a leaf spring's performance is severely reduced, resulting in a very bumpy ride and lack of control. Avoid these issues altogether and improve your vehicle's performance by replacing that OE rubber with Whiteline's synthetic elastomer.
