MOTOR MOUNT SETS
(will NOT fit cars with automatic transmissions)
These unique 2 piece polyurethane Motor Mount Inserts, insert into the sides of the existing mount,
preventing tearing of original soft rubber mount material. A must-use for high performance conditions!
Motor mount inserts were developed to decrease wheel hop during drag race/road race conditions.
Think of your existing motor mount as the meat in a sandwich and the inserts are the bread.
Energy Suspension originally made all the motor mount positions for Acura/Honda cars.
During testing, they found that the poly inserts caused so much vibration,
that the inserts caused the body to crack where the mount was welded to the body.
Since they could not sell a product that would ruin your car they have refused to sell the side support mount inserts.
Energy Suspension only makes inserts for the torque mount positions to reduce the engine rotation/flex during acceleration,
allowing the support mounts absorb vibrations so that the body will not crack.

A  note about motormount sets:  These sets were designed to be performance upgrade parts for your existing motormount.  They do not include the outer metal housing and are not designed to replace your motormount.  They are designed to decrease the flexing movement of the inner rubber of the existing motormount, by filling the void areas or open areas of the rubber in the motormount.  This is why they are called 'INSERTS'.  It does not mean that they replace the rubber in the motormount.  The intended use of the inserts was to reduce flexing of the motormount and decrease the rocking motion of the engine.  The rocking motion of the engine was found to be related to the problem of wheel hop when the car is accelerated aggressively(drag raced).  So the part was designed to help people who wanted to drag race.  Someone later, noticed that if you install a motormount insert into a rubber motormount that has one of it's fingers broken, that the motormount insert could in some instances 'repair' the mount.  This was not the intention of the motormount insert designers and we do not recommend this as solution to a broken motor mount.

1 Pound(lb.or #) = 16 ounces(oz.) divided by 10 = 1.6 oz.  
This is not the shipping weight, just the weight of the part.  
To estimate your shipping cost, you should round up to the next pound and usually add about a pound for shipping weight.  
When we ship via UPS(United Parcel Service) we have to round up to the next pound.
  UPS does not accept ounce weight, or increments of tenths.  
We will always weigh your order on an electronic scale and charge you for the exact weight, rounded up to the next pound.  
For USPS(United States Postal Service) shipping we also round up to the next pound.
