Strengthening Driver Control
Strut Arms perform two tasks: They connect your control arm to the chassis, and they hold your control arm in place. The main purpose behind these tasks is to increase driver control while braking or accelerating. The bushings that actually form the connections between the arms and chassis are crucial to this design. Without good bushings your strut arm will be loose, leaving your steering loose and creating rattling noises while braking.

While your OE strut arm bushings are made of soft rubber, Whiteline crafts theirs out of synthetic elastomer. This material is much more durable than rubber, capable of resisting both physical wear and road contamination. By replacing your OE rubber bushings with Whiteline's synthetic elastomer you'll further strengthen your control while braking and accelerating and simultaneously repair your loose steering and rattling noises.
