DST Front Inner Tie Rod End | '07-'18 Jeep Wrangler JK
Ailing Alignment
If you've upgraded the performance of your Jeep with bigger tires it's very important your alignment is up to snuff. It may seem boring but the direction and angle your tires are pointed is called your alignment and plays a big role in tire wear and handling. Lock in your 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler's alignment and save your tires from premature wear with a high quality DST front inner tie rod end.
Help Your Handling
The toe angle of your front tires has a large impact on steering and handling for your Jeep as well as being a cause of severe tire wear. It's common for rear wheel drive vehicles to have a small amount of toe in to increase high speed stability and reduce oversteer. Maximize the handling potential for your Jeep when you use a DST tie rod end to renovate your steering.
Save Your Tires
One of the fastest ways to wear out a set of tires is by doing a burnout. It seems like the second fastest way is incorrect toe. Old tie rod ends allow your toe to shift and cause wear on the edges of your tire's tread pattern, wearing out the tire before the majority of the tread is even used. Lock in your alignment and save your tires when you stop the movement caused by worn out steering with a new DST tie rod.
The Vibes Are Bad
If you don't want to wait for a worn set of tires to warn you when it's time to change your inner tie rods, paying attention to steering wheel vibrations can be another indicator. The loose joints of a worn tie rod lack the ability to control your steering and allow your tires to rapidly shift back and forth. This shifting in your tires can be felt as a vibration in your wheel, most noticeable at highway speeds. Tighten the steering on your Jeep and save your tires with a new DST inner tie rod end.
