DST Front Outer Tie Rod End - Driver | '05-'20 F250 Super Duty & F350 Super Duty 4WD
Smooth Sailing With Suspension.com
3/4 and 1 ton trucks are often fleet vehicles that play important roles for businesses that are both large and small. Minimize the downtime and consumables for your 2005-2020 Ford F250 Super Duty and F350 Super Duty with a new front outer tie rod end for the driver side of your four wheel drive truck. Choose a high quality tie rod end from Suspension.com to stop the vibrations and misalignment that wears out your tires and make driving to the next jobsite a chore.
Save Your Tires
Years of potholes and rough roads on top of hauling a load of supplies or equipment to job sites takes its toll on your steering. Repeated physical impacts abuse the tight tolerances found inside the joint on your tie rod end until your tires start to wander from the created movement. Most drivers will notice this as vibrations felt in the steering wheel, although uneven tire wear is another symptom that's easy to observe. Save your tires when you refresh your steering with a new DST outer tie rod end.
Limit Loose Tolerances
Another result of worn out steering components and out of spec alignments for Super Duty owners are the steering wheel oscillations known as "death wobble". Excessive movement created by old ball joints, tie rods, steering dampers, and other components in your front suspension and steering create a negative feedback loop that can result in pretty violent shaking of the steering wheel. A high quality DST tie rod end is an excellent way to restore your steering and limit the loose tolerances that contribute to this concern for your Ford.
Alignment Assist
Even if you've never had to manage wild steering wheel oscillations, having worn out tie rod ends is still not ideal for your Ford's steering or handling. Shifts in your steering caused by loose tolerances of worn out tie rods also cause shifts to your alignment. Changes to your toe angle cause uneven tire wear, vibrations, and terrible handling. Extend the life of your tires and lock in your alignment when you tighten up your Ford's front end with a new outer tie rod end.
