lock Warranty Information keyboard_arrow_down
Moog fulfills their warranty through their individual dealers. That means that in order to receive warranty support, you will have to refer back to the original dealer you purchased the part from. Be sure to check the dealer's warranty support before you buy the part to make sure that they will properly support the warranty. If a dealer will only refer you back to the manufacturer in order to receive warranty support, then you may not actually have any warranty at all.
Part of our warranty process includes reviewing evidence of the defect provided by the customer. This is easily accomplished by providing video or images of the defective part so our staff can verify the claim and move forward with the warranty process. This removes the necessity of shipping the part back to our facility at the customer's expense.

Front CV Axle Assembly | Toyota Tacoma 1995-2004 | Toyota 4Runner 1996-2002
Action of an Axle Assembly
The Front CV Axle Assembly (Moog-14h004) is part of the drive train that uses constant velocity axles to take power from the transmission to move the wheels. As part of MOOG's Problem Solver line, this axle is designed to address common wear issues found in factory axles by promoting consistent power delivery and reliable handling while driving. It is a dependable replacement for a Toyota Tacoma (1995-2004) and Toyota 4Runner (1996-2002) as a reliable solution for having smooth, uninterrupted performance.
Signs of Failure
Common symptoms of a failing Front CV Axle include a clicking or popping noise when turning or accelerating at higher speeds, as well as visible grease leakage from the axle boot onto the tires or axle. A worn CV axle can negatively affect steering and handling leading to increased vibration and noise throughout the suspension frame.
Behind The Joints
The axle assembly uses an inner and outer CV joint to transfer power from the transmission to the front wheels while allowing the suspension and steering to move freely. When replacing the axle assembly, drivers notice the elimination of noise, reduced vibration, and smoother steering. The MOOG axle is engineered for long-term reliability, with heat-treated bearings and housings that maintain proper joint function. A durable neoprene boot that helps seal out moisture and debris, ensuring consistent performance in harsh weather conditions.
Need a Fix?
If you're hearing a clicking when turning or feeling harsh vibrations at speed, it may be time to replace your CV Axle. The MOOG Front CV Axle Assembly is durable and long-lasting, a product that is developed to ensure smooth power delivery, improved steering and reduce future drive-train wear. It's a perfect solution for Tacoma and 4Runner owners looking to drive smoothly and confidently.
