Steering Rack Bushings 2013-2016 Subaru BRZ + Scion FRS
Polyurethane Steering Rack Bushings from SuperPro provide a replacement for the soft rubber steering rack bushings on your '13-'16 Subaru BRZ or Scion FRS that will sharpen your steering response and reduce the chance of 'bump steer' for the life of your Subaru or Scion.
Control from Wheel to Wheel
The faster you go the more important reliable steering becomes. Rubber steering rack bushings reduce vibration from the road very well, but they do a poor job when it comes to holding alignment. On the backroads of Stephenville around DST headquarters, you sometimes have to avoid roaming peacocks (no joke), so sharp steering is important.
The original bushings that hold the steering rack in place can degrade with wear and exposure to the elements. When the rubber bushings wear down the steering rack can shift which can upset the connection between the teeth of the rack and the pinion. This makes it harder for your vehicle to "center" after a turn and can cause loose steering or bump steer.
Durability and Performance
