Subaru Impreza & Subaru WRX 2008-2014 Essential Driveline Vehicle Kit
Whiteline's Essential Driveline Vehicle Kit will give your Subaru Impreza & WRX '08-'14 a performance upgrade that will last as long as your Subaru. This kit is a great, one kit option if you want to:
- increase throttle response
- improve shift feel
- reduce the lag in your shift response
- reduce torque loss/add power to wheels
- reduce rear cross member misalignment
Engine Pitch Stop
If you push your Subaru's engine to produce a lot of torque the mount can have a hard time keeping it still, which can range from a small clunking noise to serious damage to the engine or other components. Whiteline's Engine Pitch Stop will keep more stability in your drivetrain by keeping the engine stable when accelerating would ordinarily cause it to shift. Not only will this save you from having to replace a costly drivetrain, but this is also good for everyone since a stable engine is a safe engine.
Gearbox Crossmember Pad Bushings
The purpose of the gearbox is to house the gears that transmit power throughout your Subaru. Whiteline's gearbox crossmember pad bushings will insert directly into your OE gearbox mount, filling the voids. These will not only improve the feel while shifting but also allowing more power to transfer throughout, improving response time.
Mount Inserts
Similar to the gearbox crossmember pad bushings, mount inserts fill the voids, firming up soft connections and allowing an increase of power to be transferred throughout your Subaru. Whiteline's Essential Driveline Kit comes with three mount inserts:
Transmission Mount Insert
Your OE transmission mount is made from rubber and designed more for comfort, and will sag over time, which is no bueno for your Subaru's performance. Whiteline's transmission mount inserts will fill the voids in the transmission mount, this will not only allow more power to be transferred but it will even help prevent premature bushing wear.
Rear Differential Mount Inserts
Your drivetrain is what is responsible for take-off times, whether they are fast or slow depends on the amount of power that is able to transfer through your Subaru's drivetrain. Whiteline's differential mount inserts will fill the voids in your differential allowing more power to be transferred through it, giving your Subaru that drag race feel.
Subframe Mount Inserts
Whiteline's subframe mount inserts simply slide into the existing bushings on your subframe to fill the voids, this limits the amount of movement your subframe experiences when power from the engine is thrown back to the differential and reduces misalignment. These inserts will also give your Subaru a better feel when cornering and allow more power.
