Energy Suspension Coil Spring Isolators

Responsible for absorbing wheel motion and minimizing its effect on your ride, coil springs are probably one of the most recognizable components of your suspension. A less-easily recognized part are the coil spring isolators. Located at the top and bottom of each coil spring, these discs are what keep the harshest vibrations from being felt in the cab. The OE isolators are normally made of rubber. Rubber isolators are good at reducing these vibrations, but they don't last long.

Energy Suspension makes all of their coil spring isolators with Hyperflex polyurethane, a material much sturdier than rubber. Entirely capable of shrugging off the repeated fluctuations of weight and pressure, Energy's coil spring isolators will hold up much longer than the OE did. This added longevity does come with a price, polyurethane is also firmer than rubber. This firmness does increase your NVH slightly, but most drivers agree that the phenomenally increased longevity of the part is well worth it. In addition, Energy Suspension covers all of their coil spring isolators with a two-year warranty handled in-house here at DST.

Fits perfect and works perfect. I bought it because I had to piece together a "master bushing kit" for my 98 Base Prelude. The car feels much stiffer and more precise now. I have only had the car running for 2 days now, but it makes the car feel much more fun. 5/5! The hardest part is removing the old bushings. You have to drill and press them out then cut the outer races and then press in the new ones. This needs to come with more grease for everything though. It gets used fast.

Great product if you need a replacement. Had both front and rear isolators replaced since the OEM were worn out and torn. The lubrication makes it even better so when you have the strut/spring installed you can just twist it to have the correct alignment.

Excellent improvement over OEM. The thing I liked most was the fact that the isolators have a certain lubrication about them which allows you to turn the strut after the spring has been uncompressed to allow correct alignment between the strut tower bolts and the lower wishbone. You cannot do that with oem isolators and if you have the top of the strut misaligned when you uncompress the spring you have to recompress and try again ... Very annoying. Great product, every time I do springs or shocks I will be using these!
