lock Warranty Information keyboard_arrow_down
Moog fulfills their warranty through their individual dealers. That means that in order to receive warranty support, you will have to refer back to the original dealer you purchased the part from. Be sure to check the dealer's warranty support before you buy the part to make sure that they will properly support the warranty. If a dealer will only refer you back to the manufacturer in order to receive warranty support, then you may not actually have any warranty at all.
Part of our warranty process includes reviewing evidence of the defect provided by the customer. This is easily accomplished by providing video or images of the defective part so our staff can verify the claim and move forward with the warranty process. This removes the necessity of shipping the part back to our facility at the customer's expense.
WARRANTY:
Moog Premium Steering Components carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Moog R-Series Control Arms, Hub Assemblies, and Strut Assemblies carry a 3 Year Warranty.

If a Moog part should fail due to materials or manufacturing defect while under warranty, we will provide a replacement of the part upon return of the defective part.
Wearable RUBBER parts are not covered under warranty (Dust boots, bushings, bump stops, etc.)
Front Right Outer Tie Rod End | 2005-2022 4WD Ford F250 Super Duty
The tie rod is an essential part of a vehicles anatomy. Its the connecting point between the wheels spindle and the steering gear mechanism on the other side.. The MOOG-ds300008 Front Right Outer Tie Rod End is made to be resistant to these issues and prevent itself from wearing down and possibly breaking. The ball joint thats built into the tie rod end has features that allow for free and easy movement of the ball joint along the wheel. If the tie rod end is exposed to extreme stress, it can wear out and cause the steering to get sloppy. In extreme cases, if they fail and break completely, steering is impossible.
What Happens when Sway Bar End Links Fail?
Vehicles like the Ford F250 can be exposed to multiple deteriorating hazards that break down the tie rod ends components. When trucks go off-road, the dirt and debris that is kicked up can go inside the ball joint of the tie rod end and cause the inside to wear out. Also, the rod itself can go through stress through bumps and dips that strain the rods limits. If they wear down, the vehicles steering may become sloppy and make clanking and clicking noises, which can be annoying and potentially dangerous. The features that the ds300008 Tie Rod End has can help resist these issues.
MOOG's Unique Benefits
Both the ball joint installed on the MOOG-ds300008 Front Right Outer Tie Rod End and the rod itself are specially made to resist problems that normally break down standard OE tie rod ends. The ball joints greasable socket design helps flush out the debris trapped in the joint by reapplying grease. The slotted gusher bearing within also allows free movement of grease within the joint, preventing the grease from drying up. Also, the heat treated stud is more resistant to breaking than most other OE tie rod end ball joints and, while it is only applicable during a wreck, it is flexible enough bend but not break. Finally, the pressed in cover plate is able to seal the grease and other parts within the joint so that no debris can come in, avoiding potential damage.
This MOOG-300008 tie rod is one of the best ways to keep one of the key parts of the vehicles suspension together and intact.
