Moog fulfills their warranty through their individual dealers. That means that in order to receive warranty support, you will have to refer back to the original dealer you purchased the part from. Be sure to check the dealer's warranty support before you buy the part to make sure that they will properly support the warranty. If a dealer will only refer you back to the manufacturer in order to receive warranty support, then you may not actually have any warranty at all.
Part of our warranty process includes reviewing evidence of the defect provided by the customer. This is easily accomplished by providing video or images of the defective part so our staff can verify the claim and move forward with the warranty process. This removes the necessity of shipping the part back to our facility at the customer's expense.
WARRANTY:
Moog Premium Steering Components carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Moog R-Series Control Arms, Hub Assemblies, and Knuckle Assemblies carry a 3 Year or 36,000 mile Warranty (whichever occurs first). And Moog CV Axles carry a 2 Year Warranty. Above warranties are based on customers who own a car, van, SUV or light truck (less than 8,000 lbs. or 3,625 kilograms).
Moog warranties their parts to be free of defects in materials and/or workmanship during these timeframes as measured from the date of purchase.
If a Moog part should fail due to materials or manufacturing defect while under warranty, we will provide a replacement of the part upon return of the defective part.

Wearable RUBBER parts are not covered under warranty (Dust boots, bushings, bump stops, etc.)

These 29.21mm (1.15in) Front Sway Bar Bushings also fit the 94-02 Dodge Ram 1500, 15-16 Ram 2500 4WD, and 11-12 Ram 3500 among others. These front sway bar bushings are an easy DIY replacement and the synthetic fabric lined inner diameter of these bushings will last longer than the original equipment (OE) sway bar bushings. This eliminates the squeaking that comes with age and wear, provides a long lasting grip on your sway bar, and can improve handling in a turn.
Worn Sway Bar Bushings
The front sway bar connects the driver and passenger side wheels of your Ram or Dodge Ram and keeps the inside tire planted on the ground during a quick turn. When the OE bushings wear down then the front sway bar can shift and allow your inside wheel to lose some contact, and traction, while turning. If you routinely haul range cubes to the pasture, carry lumber to the work site, or otherwise have a commute that can be a little bouncy (like many trucks in north central Texas) then your OE bushings will have a short lifespan compared to the rest of your truck.
Problem Solved
When the front sway bar bushings wear down a gap can begin to form between the sway bar and the bushing. When you turn the sway bar will press further into the bushings, throwing off the connection between the driver and passenger side wheels that keeps them planted during a turn. This will increase body roll and cost you traction during a sharp turn. A worn sway bar bushing can also produce an annoying squeaking any time you hit a little bump in the road or make a turn. Moog's new 29.21mm front sway bar bushings with synthetic fabric lining can solve these problems.
Lasting Performance
The new synthetic fabric lining creates a tough barrier between the sway bar and the sway bar bushings, reducing the wear that the friction of turning causes. This allows these front sway bar bushings to last 3 times longer than the OE bushings, increasing the time between necessary replacements. More durability means these bushings hold the sway bar securely, giving you better-turning performance and less body roll. The lining also eliminates the annoying squeaking that can develop as OE bushings age.
Moog's Problem Solver sway bar bushings are split along the side for an easy install that can be completed in your own garage or driveway with a simple socket set. Simply remove the bracket and OE bushing, slip the new sway bar bushing over the bar, and bolt the bracket back down. However, I still have up and down squeaks. Editors Note: The suspension has many moving parts and the noise could be coming from any part. You would need to check out the front and rear suspension for the noise.

- It does not matter whether the split goes toward the front or rear. I always installed the slit to the rear. I thought it would keep more of the water and dirt out better.
