Rear Sway Bar Endlinks - Volkswagen GTI - moog-k750809

Rear Sway Bar Endlinks | 2015-2019 Volkswagen GTI

The sway bar connects the left and right suspension and reduces body stable when making a turn. It takes a large amount of stress while doing its job, and so do its connecting parts like the endlinks. The MOOG-k750809 Rear Sway Bar Endlinks are the attaching points between the sway bar and the rest of the suspension for vehicles like the 2015-2019 Volkswagen GTI. If these endlinks were damaged, not only will the sway bar bang around, the vehicle will suffer a decrease in performance and excessive lean.

What is an End Link?

To better understand the endlinks we first must understand how sway bars work. When a vehicle goes down a sharp turn, a large amount of the vehicle's weight shifts towards the outside of the turn. When it does, the grip of the inside wheel starts to give out. The sway bar anchors the inside wheel's suspension to the outside wheel to keep that inside wheel down during the turn. The endlinks connect the sway bar ends to the suspension and determine how well the sway bar can reduce body roll.

The Benefits of this Endlink

MOOG makes endlinks that are specially designed for the vehicles they are listed for and are tested for customer satisfaction. In fact, MOOG offers a limited lifetime warranty on all endlinks. This k750809 end link is helpful because inside the ball joint is a gusher bearing, a slotted metal support that allows for free movement of grease. Also, the endlinks can be re-greased while other parts are sealed and don't allow for extra lubrication. Finally, when installed, it provides smoother like-new feel to the vehicle's handling.

If you would like to have a sway bar that is stable and can handle turns easier, pick up some MOOG k750809 Rear Sway Bar Endlinks as soon as you can!

starstarstarstarstar" Good, simple and effective. "

Ordered these as I upgraded my rear sway bar to a 26mm and after searching through a lot of different places, the ones that came up most for being reliable were these. Quality is great, ease of install is great, and function is great. Had no problems with install and no issues while driving. Greasing them up is super easy also with the grease fitting. Would recommend them to anyone.

starstarstarstarstar" Very Nice Quality "

I installed these on my 19 GTI with a 27MM rear sway bar. Fitment was perfect! I would suggest that you spray paint them as they come raw. These are way stronger than stock! The one problem that I ran in to is the nut that goes from endlink to swaybar came loose and was making a clunking noise. Probably was me not torquing them down enough but still 10/10 would recommend

starstarstarstarstar" Robust, quality parts "

I dont know why anyone buys the fancier, more expensive stuff when these are available. These are a great price and probably some of the beefiest out there.

Do these Rear Sway Bar Endlinks (part number moog-k750809) need to be painted? They look almost like the raw unfinished metal?

No. The cast steel will develop surface rust. I have never seen cast steel rust through. I could rust through when the short rod goes into the round end where the tapered stud is.
