Moog fulfills their warranty through their individual dealers. That means that in order to receive warranty support, you will have to refer back to the original dealer you purchased the part from. Be sure to check the dealer's warranty support before you buy the part to make sure that they will properly support the warranty. If a dealer will only refer you back to the manufacturer in order to receive warranty support, then you may not actually have any warranty at all.
WARRANTY:
Moog Premium Steering Components carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Moog R-Series Control Arms, Hub Assemblies, and Strut Assemblies carry a 3 Year Warranty.
Moog warranties their parts to be free of defects in materials and/or workmanship during these timeframes as measured from the date of purchase.
If a Moog part should fail due to materials or manufacturing defect while under warranty, we will provide a replacement of the part upon return of the defective part.
Wearable RUBBER parts are not covered under warranty (Dust boots, bushings, bump stops, etc.)

Not made in my opinion for HD diesel applications seals broke down after 8 months and I would not recommend them to anyone unless you are running a 1500 dodge. My application for a 3/4 ton diesel they wore out and I fully removed and threw them in the dumpster. Editors Note: Most premature wear is caused by not greasing the parts when installed and every oil change.

- Will 1st or 2nd design work for my vehicle.
- Answer:
- You need to look at the steering on your truck. The 1st design the steering damper attaches to the drag link with a tapered stud. The 2nd design the steering damper attaches to the drag link with 2 u-bolts and a bracket.
- Question:
- Can I upgrade to the 2nd design front end kit if I change everything?
- Answer:
- Moog makes a kit that includes the steering linkage, pitman arm and steering dampner to convert you steering from the 1st design to the 2nd design. Here is the Moog part number ds800980a.
- Question:
- Do the ball joints have grease fittings that come in the kit?
- Answer:
- All the parts in the kit except for the adjusting sleeves are greaseable.
- Question:
- What parts do I need to use this package to update my truck to the 2nd steering setup? Is this a direct bolt on (no modification) setup?
- Answer:
- You would need to replace the pitman arm and steering damper to complete the conversion. You would need the k440002 pitman arm and the steering damper ssd132.

- How do I know if I have chosen the correct parts and if not can I return them?
- Answer:
