These polyurethane front lower control arm bushings will also replace the original rubber bushings on the 03-09 Prius and the 00-05 Rav4. As the original bushings wear down the alignement angles of your front wheels will change and cause uneven tire wear, steering wander, and reduce your traction during a turn.

Hollowed Out Control Arm Bushings

Rubber control arm bushings do a great job of absorbing vibration between the road and the cabin of your Toyota, but they do this by flexing and bending. Over time, as the rubber continually bends, it's shape changes during suspension movement and the bushing will begin to form gaps and hollow out. These gaps make the control arm loose and can cause changes in the alignment angles of the front wheels.

The Importance of Alignment

If the camber angle, or tilt, of your front wheels is not held correctly then your tires are riding on their edge instead of flat against the road. When this happens one side of your tires will wear down unevenly meaning early replacement. Besides this thrown off camber angles can affect how well your front tires maintain traction during a turn. This is important whether you enjoy taking Erath County backroads at speed or have a windy path to the school drop-off.

Durable Performance

Polyurethane is a more durable material than rubber and will hold the alignment of your vehicle more securely. Not only this but heat, motor chemicals, and road salts can degrade rubber to the point that it can crack and fall apart, but polyurethane bushings hold your wheel alignment through even rough suspension movement. These bushings are backed by SuperPro's exceptional lifetime warranty that covers racing and off-road applications, and Suspension.com will handle any warranty issues for you in house.

The Bushings are working great. No Squeaks!! Some people warned about squeaks with poly bushings but due to the internal knurl to hold the grease, No Squeaks. Also the front suspension feels tighter than the OEM rubber ones. I highly recommend SuperPro Bushings

So far, so good. The parts seem to be very well made! I dont put a lot of miles on the car, but I have no doubt that they will continue to perform well for years to come.

The hardest part of installing these bushings was pressing out the old factory bushings. \nIf you dont have the proper tools, i would recommend buying the pre assembled one. \nReally easy install, was able to do it without removing the wheels. There are a couple of how-tos on youtube that really help.\nPerformance wise i wasnt dissapointed. It is a bit pricey but i would totally buy them again and again because they make that big of a difference in steering and handling. \nExtremely linear braking and steering response. With a nice set of coilovers or stiffer springs the car would be perfect.

The Duro 3441K are holding up well. I have had no problems with them.

These are very well made bushings. I used a 20-ton press with a 1" 3/16 socket to press out the old bushings, and the install is a breeze as you just lube up the bushings inside and out and stick the sleeve though them. On my stock, LCAs they fit very well with precision. The inner sleeve did take a lot of pressure to stick through the bushings! The overall impression is this is top quality materials and workmanship.
5 out of 5 - Awesome.

Allow me to be the first to review this fine product. This is the pinnacle of high-performance replacement bushings for the Nissan Maxima. The install went as expected by destroying the old bushing to reveal a cross-shaped sleeve. I removed the sleeve with a saws-all metal blade. I used a 1" 7/8 socket to press out the old bushings, and press in the new SuperPro SPF4151k bushings into the aluminum housing. Use the lube on the inside of the bushing as required: Good To Go. I used a 20-ton press for the bushings.
5 out of 5 - Awesome.
