SuperPro's Control Arm Bushings
Connecting You to Your Vehicle
Made to connect your steering knuckle and wheel assembly to the rest of your steering system, control arms are vital to, funny enough, controlling your vehicle. Control arm bushings are similarly important. Designed to protect the connections between the control arm and it's mounting points, control arm bushings determine how well your control arm actually performs. OE control arm bushings are commonly made of soft rubber, this rubber is good at reducing NVH, but it doesn't last long. The good news is SuperPro has what you need.

I sold performance Auto Parts for a decade and the quality of Polyurethane bushings can be spotty. Even among one manufacturer. These by far are the best I have seen. There are grease grooves in the outer portion and the inner holes are cross-hatched to hold grease. The sleeves fit perfectly. Tolerances were tight. I installed them along with all the rest of the poly bushings available for my 2001 Volvo S40 (Mitsu Lancer CE application) and they fit great. Nobody lists them for the Volvo, but they fit the early S40. I have only had a chance to install the fronts, but understeer has been reduced while keeping ride quality. The front end feels more planted. My only complaint is that they are a bit pricey. But thats what happens when you have an "orphan" car. Im just glad someone makes them.
