Polyurethane is Preferred
Nissan moved the lower rear control arm mount to the very edge of the suspension knuckle to create clearance for the rear axle. This placement of the control arm mount creates a lot of leverage and increases the workload for the control arm bushing. This geometry makes a control arm bushing with a stronger material density, like polyurethane, preferable for resisting deflection and accurately controlling alignment settings during cornering or acceleration.
