Rear Lower Control Arm Bushings 2015-2017 Mustang GT, V6, EcoBoost
These Polyurethane Rear Lower Control Arm Bushings will upgrade the handling of your 2015-2017 Mustang by maintaining rear wheel alignment angles to increase traction during a turn. If you're looking to improve the performance of your Mustang's handling then these bushings will keep camber angle steady and your contact patch on the pavement instead of allowing your rear wheels to ride on their edge.
This kit covers the inner position on the driver and passenger side.
What Happens to Rubber Bushings
The original rubber bushings on your Mustang absorb vibration well, but they do this by bending and flexing. When you take a corner at speed those bushings can compress enough to allow the rear lower control arms to shift and tilt the rear tires to the outside of the turn. This is a concern, whether you're making all left hand turns or carving corners on a back road in central Texas, since with the tires riding on their edge you lose some traction from the rear and develop uneven wear.
The solution for shifting rear wheel alignment is a firmer, more durable bushing holding the lower control arm to the subframe.
