Universal Polyurethane Bump Stops
Polyurethane bump stops help protect suspension components from over-compression or banging into the frame and last much longer than stock rubber stops.
A Bump Stop does exactly what you think it does, stops the bump. Well, it's a little more detailed than that. The functions of a bump stop are to limit suspension travel so that tires don't rub on the body, to prevent the vehicle from bottoming out, and to prevent the over-compression of springs. Polyurethane bump stops are an ideal upgrade. Not only is polyurethane not affected by the elements or vehicle oils, but the material is much stronger and is designed to take the repeated abuse without changing the shape of the bump stop. You won't lose anything in the way of comfort by switching to poly bump stops from the original rubber parts. Aftermarket universal bump stops are available from these polyurethane brands:
