Whiteline's synthetic elastomer is a firmer bushing than the O.E. Not only does this increase the longevity of the bushing, but it gives the suspension a boost in handling performance. I noticed a split running the length of the bushing (seen on the front & rear faces) on one of these when I was under the car recently. I thought maybe it was supposed to be there, like some bushings have, but its only on one side. Upon checking pics of my installation from 2 years ago I now see the split was present before I installed the bushing. Im hoping I can replace that one since it seems to be under the 3 year warranty. Otherwise Ive liked my Whiteline bushings that Ive bought for this and my other car. Editors Note: The Whiteline engineers designed the split in the bushing to aid installation. The bracket wraps around the bushing where the split is. This will not let the bushing separate during normal operation.
